“Films have always accompanied me in my life. They cheered me up by bringing me into their wonderful worlds when I was feeling lonely and abandoned. They were my friends when I had none. They allowed me to become who I wanted to be, by identifying myself to the characters. Films gave me hope. Hope that one day, I’ll do something of my life. That I will work it out. That I’d be able to fall in love again even if a break up seemed to be the end of the world. That my differences wouldn’t be a matter of mockeries anymore, but of admiration. And today, films keep on making me dream, giving me emotions, teaching me things about life.
That’s what gave me this desire I’ve had since I was a child and that I’ve been feeling in my guts, to give back. To be there for people. To cheer them up when they don’t feel fine. To bring them in an imaginary world, to give them hope, to make them dream. To be the friend, the sister or the lover they don’t have. Or that they identify themselves to the characters I embody to find solutions to their problems, to give them courage.
That’s what I hope to bring you by playing in movies and on stage.”
